Default New Premades!!!!

The pre mades kick ass, but ive cycled through every single one of em, played and won hundreds of arena matches with all of them, and now im bored. So i suppose its a little selfish, but maybe it could be turned around to help people.

I always considered the pre mades as like tasters of what each class was about. paladin as the shining concept, although theve become a little outdated. Roles change etc.

So we still want standard builds, but cycling some new ones would be cool.
Maybe putting in some fotm builds would encourage the pve players and new players to maybe do a little pvp, since its all there waiting for em. Logging in as a paladin premade nowadays means your going to be stood around spamming lfg before you get one, and its going to suck more than likely. I should know

How about:

Air Spiker:

First real fotm, the two elements represented in pre mades atm are fire and water, fire more being suited to pve, and the water being terrible. How about just swapping to the other two>?

El/Me

Energy Storage: 10
Air: 11
Inspiration: 10

Lightening Surge [e]
Lightening Orb
Chain Lightening
Arcane Echo
Energy Drain
Energy Tap
Lighting Strike
Air Attunement

and for earth, kd/as....:

wa/el (the current wa/el earth seems to lack anything, lets give some personality):

Strength: 8
Hammer :12
Earth: 10

Devastating Hammer [e]
Mighty Blow
Heavy Blow
Aftershock
Shock
Armour of Earth
Sprint
Frenzy


And goddam, a decent mesmer? That spell slasher is awful.....

in fact, sticking with the trend of taking builds from top guilds, heres a me/mo of very balanced preportions that i saw in a n0 video from beta:

Mesmer/Monk

Fast Casting: 6
Domination: 12
Inspiration: 12

Power Spike
Energy Drain [e]
Mind Wrack
Energy Burn
Backfire
Shatter Enchantment
Vengeance
Restore Life (was divine intervention in the vid, but a) im not sure that works anymore, and b) its hard to coordinate as a new player)

The current premades have two eles, so heres a revamped water:

El/Me:

Energy Storage: 10
Water: 11
Illusion: 10

Arcane Echo
Water Trident [e]
Maelstrom
Ice Prison
Ethereal Burden
Blurred Vision
Aura of Restoration
Sympathetic Visage

The minion master is fairly standard, although perhaps put in blood of the master for deathly swarm?

That’s a few, any other suggestions?

1st off... Energy Drain is an Elite. Good idea but no. Air Spiker isn't very creative. Many people, such as my self, even have one just for the occational spike group. Since you have played all of the Premades, so have I, you should know the builds are very creative and work wonders when played correctly. A Spiker is too common to even be needed to be made a Premade
WHERES THE REZ!? WTF!!! (always plan on a rez sig, 7 skills is how many to base a build off, not 8.)

I want a good mesmer. That is not a good mesmer. Take out both Vengeance and Restore Life, Put in a rez sig, put in spirit shackles. That could be a good mesmer.

Once again, all of your builds need a rez signet. Water build coulda been better, not enough damage in there to make it worth using.

The pre mades... kick... ass... Yeah. Sure. In the random arena.

You might want to include a resurrection signet in all your premades. I just love to fight teams with no monk and only 1 signet out of 4 players. 2 min game and free faction points.

SHORTEST PVP: 46 seconds
Longest PvP: sadly 39 minutes (talk about a healing ball hehehe)
average time: 1 minute

YES the premades are strong, go play the flame slinger. its super friggen bomb!

That's an impressive argument. Now could you expand and tell me the strengths and weaknesses of each premade? How would you improve them, and what kind of premade would you submit? I'd be curious to learn from your ubber knowledgez.

whoops on the energy drain, i started that then finished another time so i must have missed it.

The premades are not creative. paladin premade isnt creative, minion master isnt creative, healers arent creative, warriors bane isnt creative, trapper isnt creative (although niche), the w/e is just a worse version of kd as since it has no synergy, etc. (whilst some may argue that slow is synergy, its very simple synergy, that isnt special). Therefore putting in an air spiker is no different than the currest flame ele, but at least an air spiker new to the game, would be able to get a group

you dont *always* build off 7 skills, you dont need res on everyone.

vengeance > res sig. i used this build for about a week and got the most victories with any build ever. whatsmore restore life is only about 6 seconds so thats not as bad as a res on anyone else (resmer). Thats WHY its a me/mo, and not me/n.

echo'd trident aint enough. ftw, its like 50 dps, if it had some runes, and for a premade thats alright. You put in a res sig by your own hand as mentioned.
Water isnt about damage, its about snare.


ftw is hahahaha at frenzy? you want to use a hammer with basic attack rate?

None of the premades currently have res sig, so i assumed to leave it that way.
